I got these gloves to replace my old Fairtex 16 oz training gloves, which was falling apart due to its old velcro. Compared to those, these gloves are AWESOME. They are 16 oz gloves that feel like 14’s because a lot of the weight is placed in the thick wrist padding.

These gloves really shine during sparring sessions: their width really makes covering easy, and my punches are noticeably quicker and cleaner.

While they can be used for pad/bag work, keep in mind that they are meant for sparring. Compared to most other 16 oz gloves, these don’t offer as much support for hitting the bag, and I can only really hit the bag about 80-90% with these.
