I have these shinguards along with K.O. fightgear gloves and head gear,

I bought these shin guards not knowing what to expect , and what i got are the strongest most durable shin guards I own. These things are tanks , very well built, and have a very nice closure system. For all you big guys out there these fit me perfect (6′2″ 290lbs) I used to use the c.s.i grappling shin insteps while doing some light sparring, but checking a kick with those things is like checking it with your bare shin, These K.O. offer great protection sparring for you and your partner

These things are TOUGH. The construction is very solid and the padding abosrbs enormous amounts of impact. Kicking my bag was lovely. The best thing about the shinguards are the ease with which they can be put on or taken off. The instep has elastic under it and the straps hold to your lower leg really well. The back is made of a canvas type material and is both breathable and comfortable. At 45.00 these pads are a very good buy.
