I own the limited edition yellow/black sprawl shorts that were released last year.

As far as design, I can say that it is quite sophisticated yet simple. With that said, the functionality of these shorts are outstanding. Never once have I had a problem with these shorts not functioning. They are simply brilliantly designed.

The shorts are short and are like muay thai shorts which is a plus. These shorts don’t affect my range of motion and I could kick with no problem. The shorts feel great and I don’t have a problem with comfort. Though, a 34 would be better for me, because the 32’s feel a bit tight (with drawstring).

The inside pocket, I barely use because it’s too small. It’s okay to fit my mouthguard in but for other stuff like my mp3 player it just isn’t big enough. Though, sprawl has released newer shorts that have a bigger pocket to fit these things which is a great add!

Durability, only like 1-2 threads have came loose but other then that…perfect.

5/5 - Great, great shorts.

Oh my…I almost thought about posting pictures with no review because these things rendered me speechless when I opened them this afternoon. SPRAWL has created something unlike anything I have ever seen or heard of before. These things are amazing. For all the construction details go here (http://sprawl.tv/p_v_flex_xt.html) because SPRAWL explains the construction and details better than I can. Ill just give you my initial take on the shorts. As with all my recent reviews Ill try my best to update it with how the shorts are holding up.

My initial impression is these things are going to go the distance construction wise. The same stitch is used but it looks cleaner. The shorts are made of a completely new material, a “heavy-duty stretch fabric.” Because of this fabric I’m going to buy another pair for chilling, one for the beach in and one to sleep in; I guess my point is these are very comfortable shorts. They also have un-inhibited motion, because of the stretch fabric, flex panels and lightweight material you don’t feel like your wearing anything.

The sizing is definitely different. I’ll bold that because it is super important. Steve shipped me a 28, in all other SPRAWLS I have been a 30 so I was bummed at first and thought he got my size wrong. But as always Steve knew what he was doing and these fit perfectly. The waistband feels much different and is made from a different material from the 06’s that I also own. It is thicker (see the pics below) and much softer. My cup also fits more comfortably. I think the sizing is more “true” so you can order closer to your actual size.

All the stitching is black so it gives the short a much lower profile and draws a lot more attention to the super clean embroidered logos. The new logos are a hollow version of the original style, I like them. These are the competition version of the shorts so the large SPRAWL is on the front right and back left.

These are the sweetest pair of shorts that I own period. You can get them in new white and brown colors too. If you want any specific pictures just let me know and I will do my best to answer any questions that you may have.
