Straight to the point…

Design-Not very original, simply put it’s an ouano(spelling) style glove with “Throwdown” over the padding. Completely thumbless as you can see, and the stitching is secure as can be. Features a wrist strap that wraps around your wrist only once.

Functionality-I gave this a 3 because I’ve had these for about 2months and the wrist strap is STILL stiff. The stiffness makes it harder to wrap your wrist for maximum support. Throwdown has advertised these for training and competition, I don’t recommend these for training purposes. The padding is simply not enough to protect your hands during bag/mitt work, and is definitely not enough to protect your partner’s face during sparring. Your partner’s your most valuable piece of equipment…don’t show them your appreciation by slugging them with these one-they pack a MEAN punch.

Fit/feel-fits nicely, not the most comfortable I’ve ever had but definitely not the worst. I would have given it a 5 but I notice when I train grappling with these one I have to readjust the gloves every few moves.

Durability-Had these 2 months and except for the scratches these look the same as day 1.
My hand measures 3.75″ from knuckle to knuckle and I wear a Large in these(the medium cut off circulation)
