Pro’s:
Durability: 25+ washes, crotch pulling opponents, etc. Only slight fading and very slight marring of fabric, likely from washing in loads with jeans, or tugging.
Looks: Small logo, which although “ninja” isn’t that annoying. Good looking, basic short.
Stitching: No errors, reinforced throughout.
Fit: Elastic waist, and stretch panels leads to solid fit without mobility issues
Price: I’d rather have two pairs of these than one pair of Sprawl/Tapout
Shipping: Timely, no issuePro/Con:
No Split leg. I prefer this.
Length: At/slightly above knee @ 5″11. I prefer this.Con’s:
No mouthguard/hidden pocket
Material used for waist laces sticks to velcro crotch/waist cinch. Common problem, but one I would remedy if I made shorts.

The Truth V3 short is a total new short from there last model. This has a total of 4 stretch panels, an elastic waist and very roomy cut. The construction is great with thick stitching and minimal logos for a very clean look. It’s your typical short design with Velcro in 3 places and a draw string. They changed from there last Velcro design, which I liked, and went with the traditional design (see other truth short review http://www.sherdog.net/forums/showthread.php?t=386009). I actually let a friend borrow these for his first MMA fight and he loved them. There is no problem with range of motion and the fit is nice and comfortable. The material is unique, I have not seen a pair of shorts with this kind of material. It’s another stretch polyester material but thicker and heavier than other materials I have seen and warn. It’s very smooth to the touch; very comfortable to wear.
Here is the traditional Velcro design and thick waistband.
