These are overall a good pair of shin guards. After having them for about a year, they are still holding up very well. For the most part, they absorb hard shin impacts well and the instep has saved my foot on numerous occassions.

The only gripe I have about these is that they feel clunky at times due to their width, but I suppose this is just due to its design. There are lighter shin guards out there, but they also offer less protection.
