This UFC card featured the first PRIDE-UFC unification bout, making MMA history. Even better, the card was shown free on cable so that it could be seen by viewers all around the world.

Although the fights were more decision-heavy than I usually like, the ones that went the distance were anything but boring. Cro-Cop vs. Kongo featured 3 full rounds packed with action, with either fighter imposing their will on the other. The majority of the Jackson vs. Henderson fight consisted of careful clinch work against the cage, but this however, only demonstrated the similar levels of greatness of each of the two PRIDE-bred champions.

It appears that UFC has been steadily improving their free fights and the MMA community is none happier.
